Thanks for all the insights; I finially got the lower unit to drop and when it did I had four (4) nubs sticking out of the bolt holes. With heat directly on the nubs and a wrap of the hammer all are now free and this part of my adventure is over many, many thanks for all the ideas! Look to my next thread of replacing the impella, my book is vague and I (or the impella) have issues!

Best penatrating oil made ........ No dealers order from them only , Buy one king size get one free , I don't take anything apart thats old or been exposed ,neglected without first spraying , Have tried every known or mixture and this one seems to do it all ! If it won't work with first app then heat a little and re apply

AeroKroil has amazed me and I have been taking things apart from some of the harshest elements since late 60"s .haven't needed lefthanded bits or my proto easyouts for a while with using this product and some heat and light rapping with hammer and it kills bees that are present in some of can of worms Ive opened up so its a first line of defence . Spray on before working on walk away smoke one give a little time then heat and reapply I will bet you won't be without ever again . Never seem to get cans back after loaning out .

I've used it to the same results as every other penetrating oil when applied to stainless bolts corroded in aluminum.
