Yamaha 2 Stroke 130 Compression

Hi All,

What sort of compression numbers should a healthy Salt Water Series 130hp 2 stroke yamaha have?

Im going interstate to look at one next weekend on a 2001 model boat and will be compression testing before purchase if im that way inclined!

All 4 cylinders should compress within a 10% range. What psi you get depends too much on your gauge, conditions, battery and technique to set a number, but, done like this: http://forums.iboats.com/engine-frequently-asked-questions-faq/compression-test-jb-391323.html they should compress over 100psi.
