Yamaha 25 Kicking knocking Video

I have a 1990s 25 HP yamaha. It ides pretty smooth but once i give it some throttle the whole motor kicks and shakes pretty hard, and just doesn't run smooth. Could this be a rod/bearings? Or is there something else it could be? Here is a video of it running:

Sounds more like dirty carbs...may have to clean them.

im with graham...clean them carbs slowly and meticulously. if you have been in those carbs several times you might want to get a carb kit. 100.00-150.00.

That's a smooth idle? Sounds alittle rough to me.
I concur with the other gentlemen, you need to clean the carbs at the very least.
