Yamaha 300 HPDI

I just got a new 34' sea vee and instead of puting triple 250's on it (which I think is too much power and too costly), I heard that yamaha is coming out with a 300 hp HPDI. Ive look all over yamaha and have not seen any new news. Do any of you know anything about this??

It looks like it will be out as a 04 model. We've seem some test results and it looks good. They did work a lot on the oil consumption issue. The 250s and the 225 sister burn 2 quarts per hour at 4000 rpm. The 300 is reported to burn .9 of a quart per hour at 4000. <br /><br />Let us know how you like it!
