I just got a hold of a 9.9 h.p. 4 stroke. I'm not sure of the year, the Model # is T9.9EXHQ, Code 6g8 UL. I'm going to do some research on it now but this site has always been good for a quick response. I need battery cables, Throttle clamps, kill switch, tank & bulb. I'm not sure if it runs or how longs it has sat. It looks very clean and no rust or corrosion inside that i can see. what oil should I use for this? what other areas should I look at before running it so I don't create more problems. I don't know much about Yamahas or these small motors, I just hope it's more reliable then my johnson. Any info would be great and really appreciated. Thank you.
