i have a yamaha 85-2 stroke. i found one of the cylinders(#3) is not firing. i have spark. pulled the sparkplug and found i have water in it. i have a compression tester but no one to help me at the moment. is this possibly just a gasket issue or something worse. any input would be appreciated

Re: yamaha 85

Thats a 3 cyl inline motor that had a history of blocked water passages if not flushed regularly, thereby overheating. If run after the warning buzzer was on a while the head could have warped as well as other issues to cause the water in the cyl. I would be pulling the head and going from there...
