I need a boat motor mechanic around Rome ga to work on a yamaha 40hp the carb. needs to be cleaned after I bought gas that had water in it drained out gas but motor still has a hard time idling and slow speed runs great on top end

drain the carbs and pump primer bulb while you have the drain plugs out to flush out anything in the lines and pump.
If that does not fix it then pull and clean the carbs.
If you just need a mechanic then go to your local Yamaha dealer and check to make sure they have some one that knows what they are doing

google yamaha outboard marine.
follow the steps.
5 star means at least 1 tech did a vidio course.
look for a dealership that has at least 1 master tech.
