Yamaha Boats made in USA or Japan

I am trying to find out exactly where Yamaha boats, like the 212ss, are made. Are they are stamped "Made in USA", or are they assembled in the USA.
The difference comes only if I try to import one into Canada. Not only will I pay 13% HST, but I could also be liable for a 6% Japanese trade duty, and possibly 12% federal import tax.

It is very important and I can't seem to get an answer from a Yamaha Dealer, and Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. does not have an e-mail address.

The actual boat hulls are made in TN. Just like Sea Ray and Mastercraft.
But they are not built by Yamaha. They are contracted out, and the name of the hull builder / assembler is stamped on the boat, Tennessee Watercraft Inc.

VONORE, Tenn. ? Yamaha Motor Corp.?s Tennessee Watercraft Inc. has completed a $6 million, 64,000-square-foot expansion at its Vonore, Tenn. plant, according to an article this week in The Daily Times.

The expansion includes a robotic gelcoat application booth, robotic CNC cutters, and an RF urethane injection system for floating foam, as well as other ?green? technologies, the newspaper reported.

"I am very pleased that Yamaha has completed this important investment for its ever-expanding boat building facility," U.S. Rep. John J. Duncan Jr. said in a statement. "It is an essential component of ensuring the continued growth of our local economy and is putting Tennessee on the map as the epicenter of boat manufacturing in the U.S."
