Yamaha carb drain broke

I have a 1989 Yamaha 115 hp carb 115etlf that the bowl drain broke coming out. Should I try to get out the broken half in the carb, or epoxy up the hole? Drilling it out would be difficult but not impossible.

A picture would help. Do you ever drain the carb bowls? If so, why?

Could you drive a SS self tapping screw into the remains of the drain to seal it?

Good idea. It is a very small hole, perhaps 1/16”. I will check it out. Thank you. John
