yamaha control question

The alumacraft that we picked up, still has some yamaha controls, that seem to be in good condition.
But, since there is an oil pressure guage, it seems obvious it was a 4 stroke before. From these pics, can anyone see if it will fit two strokes. Although I would prefer to have an 88 spl or a 90 OMC on it, I would be open minded to put a two stroker Yamaha on it, if the right deal arises. Figure saving a set of controls could be worth it. If it only fits 4 strokes, it would probably go on ebay or something, as I only want 2 strokes.

Re: yamaha control question

that is the same control Yamaha has run since about the late 80's or possibly before for two stroke motors.

I don't know how well the electrical side will work with other brands though.

Alright thanks, thats what I needed to know, if it will fit 2 stroke yammys. I wouldn't even bother with getting it to fit a Johnnyrude.
Anyone know where I could find exactly what years it fits?

The 703 works fine on my '96 DT40 Suzuki, 2 stroke. I've got the remote with my engine.
