Yamaha F-150 model question

Hello, I tried using the vin code chart but unable to determine exact year model of this motor. The motor had a 2006 manufacture date (not sure of month) on the sticker but I want to know if it is a 2006 year or a 2007 model year. I believe there was a balancer issue with some 2006 model F-150's that was corrected on the 2007 year model run. The vin# is:
63PX1061854. Can anyone help?

I think your best be is to call a Yamaha dealership and ask them to look your engine up in "Parts Manager Pro" software.

That serial indicates model year 2007 and it is not safe from the balancer issue. It has not the worst one but it has not the latest one with an additional oil-nozzle either. So listen to it once in a while so You catch it before it fails.
