Yamaha gauges

I boat a boat that has a 2006 Yamaha F40 engine and the digital multifunction tachometer and speedometer gauges. The basic operation of the tachometer is described in the online version of the owners manual. However, the speedometer is not mentioned.

Does anyone know where I can get more detailed manuals on these gauges?

Does the speedo work? It uses a pressure hose from the pitot tube in the lower unit.
