I lost my boat key. So I stuck a srew driver in the switch to try to turn it. I heard a tiny crack. I went to a yamaha dealer and got a new key for the switch. The 3 number on the key match the 3 number on the switch. Went home assemble my control box back togather.
I had to disassemble it to get to the key switch 3 number. stuck the key in and turn it. Now my engine wont start at all. It seem like I'm not getting any power to the ignition switch. I check all the wire on the switch they seem to look fine. Is there any way to check if the ignition switch is bad. Or should I replace the ignition switch? I also try to start my engine manully by jumping the 2 red wire on the starter relay. The engine crank but wont start. Could that cause some damage to the starter relay or relay assemble?

1997 90hp yamaha
Thanks

Yamaha ignition switch

Yamaha ignition switch

So I lost my key. Went to yamaha deal got a new key. Stuck it in to start the engine. Nothing happen. It seem like there no power going to the switch. I did stuck a srew drive in it and try to turn it. Could I have broke something in the switch that keep it from turning over the engine? or should I just order a new switch?

Thanks
