I have a mariner that I think the only thing mariner on it is the engine cover. The engine is a 1987 made in japan. even the fuel clip is yamaha. My question is, can and should I refer to a Yamaha manual for repairs or try to locate an obsolete mariner manual that probably is just like the motor (having a mariner book cover. thanks Dean
