Hi,

My control cables has started to get high friction, the reverse is where it is most problem now.

I think it is some standard Teleflex control cables today (I have e-mailed Teleflex the numbers that is printed on the cables).

I was thinking of replace the control cables with:

a) Yamaha Premier Series:

http://www.yamaha-motor.com/outboar...il/5/256/1093/8689/all/all/3793/0/detail.aspx

Or

b) Teleflex TFXtreme:

http://www.teleflexmorse.com/default.asp?ID=11

Are these cables really that much better like lower friction then standard cables as they claim, and can tolerate bends better without beeing sloppy?

I would hate to change control cables and the problem still exist.

There is a rather sharp bend just as the rigging house enters the upper part of transom on my boat, that is probably the cause for the problem I have now.

Thanks for any input on this subject!
/Bo
