motor got hot and blew the top right piston. never have rebuilt a yamaha. i plan to replace piston and sleeve. should i worry about replacing all 6 pistons or just the one or any other parts. does anyone have do or don'ts or any advice. i wish that i could just put a new power head on it but money is tight. your advice will be apreciated. thanks

Do it right or you will just be wasting time and money. First, it needs to come apart before making decisions. Now is the time to buy that service manual to start.

To me they are easier than a Mercury. The factory service manual is a necessity. An 8mm 12 point socket from Snap-On is about the only special tool you should need.
