Yamaha water pressure ?

I just replaced the water pump kit on my 1992 Yamaha 130.Running the engine with muffs @ 1,000 rpms the gauge reads 10 psi. Once I increase the rpms over 1500 rpm the gauge starts jumping around between 5-15 psi.<br />Hopefully this is just caused by impellar vanes flexing as the rpms increase.

I would not trust any readings while using the muffs. You just can't get enough water flow using a hose. Throw her in the water and then see what the gauge reads.
