A friend has a Fox craft boat with a Johnson motor. He stated it was a 1994 48 hp engine.<br />Were on the engine can I find the model number that will indicate the year and horsepower?<br /><br />He is asking $1400 for the boat and motor.
There should be a plate on the transom mount, Nash.<br /><br />If it is a '94, two of the last three letters in the model number will be "ER".<br /><br />Good luck.
