YEAR OF CHRYSLER MOTOR?

I have a 45HP Chrysler motor and I am not for sure what year it is. I was told it is a 1977 but I don't know for sure. It's serial # is 457HH. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This is what comes up with that serial number. It probably is a 77.<br /><br />457 HA-HH 45 1970-77

Hi Chrysler<br />The first year for the 457HH Ser#1001 was 1975. Starting with ser#4950,1976. Ser#6500-up 1977.

Based on your model and serial number the year model is a 1975. The 1975 models starting serial number was 1001 and the 1976 models began with 4950. We closed our dealership but still have parts in stock for these older engines. Please email me direct for more information: linda@nu-z.net
