It is an 85 H.P. Evinrude with Model # 85893 A - Serial # E04957. I went to the Evinrude home page and could not find any info on it. Any help would be appreciated.<br /><br />Thanks in advance :)

I need to run it out of water to see how (or if) it runs. Some motors are set up so that you can hook up a garden hose to run water through it while it is running. This motor doesn't. Can't seem to find a spot to run water thru it. I just bought the boat and motor and would rather test it at home before I put it on the lake. Any help would be appreciated.<br /><br />sir****
