I have a johnson GT 100. When I bought it the company told me it was a 1989. I am trying to order a manual and it seems that from the model # it might be a 1990. I just don't want to order the wrong manual. the model # is J100STLESB . Any help is appreiiated.

Sounds like where you're ordering the manual from is correct:<br /><br />J - Johnson<br />100 - 100hp <br />ST - Special styling (GT) + Tilt and Trim<br />L - Longshaft - fits a 20" transom<br />ES - 1990<br />B - meaningless model run code.<br /> OMCID<br />'89 would be 'CE' where the 'ES' is.<br />Good luck!
