Re: year suzikie 30
The light will be on until the cooling water fills the water jacket. It is a float sensor in the head cover.

Yes, DO clean carbs.

No info on cleaning oil injection. All of the hardware is on the exterior, behind the tank, exiting the oil pump. Hoses, check valves, emulsifyer, brass tube in the intake. You will see the only internal part looking down the intake after carbs are off. To many joints in rubber line for me. A Suzuki mech. told that the oil lines should be replaced at first signs of leakage, any wet places, as a preventave maint.. I did away with all of it on mine.

I run a 14 pitch Suzuki prop on a 15 ft 44 inch bottom semi V. I have added a little cup and can run the motor out to 5650-5750 RPM. A tach is a must. Mine is a tiller so I have a Tiny Tach in place. They can be found on the web (yahoo or google "tiny tach"). Prop fitting is funny business. I would want it near 5600 at wide open. 5600 is max operating range from the manual. 16 foot flat vs. deep V are completely different animals. I would start with a 13....I think.

Plugs are NGK B7HS. Insist on NGK. I have run resister and non-resister, no difference to me, I prefer non. B7HS-10 is the same plug just pre gapped.

I lurk alot here, but don't post much. This is the first thread I have been on that someone didn't step in and bash someone. Don't say anything about looking for a part or needed item..... the 'powers that "want to" be' trash you saying you are on the wrong board.
