Went out on the water this weekend and dad drove! Well, I guess he didn't see the concrete boat launch when he backed the boat up to clear the launch and hit it:eek: !! But its ok b/c its dad;)!! Well we fished all day and and everything was fine. When we loaded the boat on the trailer I noticed one of the blades on the prop was bent @ the tip. The boat operated fine and I didn't have any issue with steering, handling or ride at all or at least nothing noticable. Do I need to have the prop fixed or is it fine if it does not affect the performance? I don't have any pics in my possession, but, will take a few when I get home.

A prop shop can straighten/repair it for you, but you can run it like it is if it doesn't worry you. Some folks run all kinds of beat-up props especially around shallow, coastal areas where prop strikes are common. As long as the balance wasn't thrown out of whack to create a vibration in the lower unit. Good old Dad!;)
