Yet another bug

I changed a cdi module on my 1985 Force 85. Took it to the lake......engine now starts easier and purrs. Now my problem is WOT is only 3000rpm (it was about 4800 before. Bad CDI caused #3 cylinder to miss but the WOT rpm was up there.) I don't think I messed with anything else. I did adjust throttle linkage stop screws to make sure carb butterfly valves opened all the way while I was on the water today, no change to WOT rpm's after that though.

I'm pouring throught the Clymer's now. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you have a cylinder that's not firing. I would double check your wires on the terminal block.
