Yet another project underway- 30' luhrs alura.

1986 30' alura, repowered with late model mercruiser 5.7, 1.5-1 velvet drive gear, 1.5" shaft, 22" x 18 pitch wheel, over sized rudder, custom built rudder shoe, sea star hydraulic steering, custom built helm enclosure, modified transom with door. Picked this boat up for free, it was sat up for yrs and needed a make over. As with all my other projects, its a great way to pass the time.

I keep telling my wife I just want to finish the boat I'm restoring now but I think this is becoming a hobby, I'm not quiet sure how to break the news lol Your boat sounds like a great project and I only wish I had the space for something like that. Like always keep the pictures and progress posted!

I've eyed this model for some time, love the cockpit layout, lines, and price point, but what about the coring? Did you get that deep into the boat?
