Heres the Ad.. I haven't seen it yet. But i would love to have a classic wood boat like this..He want's 950 for all of it.

When i initially e-mailed him about the boat i asked "does the boat float ok?.. Or is it a total rehab package" He replied a few minutes ago stating that it floats just fine and he just needs to apply the yearly paint and varnish to be lake ready. He has already stripped and prepared it. Cant see much info on the Penn Yan 15' runabouts, but im getting exited to think i t may be a real find. Are Penn Yan boats common?.. Or is a 63 woody possibly one of those mahogony Gems i have seen. It could be a tossup between this and a 16' plain jane Grumman aluminum deep V with a nice 30 HP Merc and trailer. Same $

The aluminum with the Merc would be a good fishing rig.
I have been looking for one around here but not many aluminum V hulls for sale.

Google around for Penn Yan. There is a good owner site but I forgot to save the link. :redface:

Could very well be an excellent purchase.
