You can try ebay.
Your link isn't coming up with your motor info.
I suspect your carb is of the plastic kind. I cracked the top and the bowl on my 7.5 Johnson and the parts were about $25 apiece.
I hate those plastic carbs.

Re: Your assistance greatly needed!! Carburator cover cracked

Hello, I have cracked my carburetor body cover on my 9.9 evinrude. It is part number 25 on this diagram, http://shop2.evinrude.com/ext/index.aspx?s1=0cdbc4141ca41c5659d06aad626fd7a5 , Very expensive at $80. Can anyone direct me to a used parts supplier? Does anyone have a spare they could sell me?

Please, any advise or assistance would be greatly appreciated, I can't wait to get back out on the water!

Jon

i paid $50 just for the float cover on my merc. i searched and searched for a used supplier, but no dice.

Re: Your assistance greatly needed!! Carburator cover cracked

I have searched ebay, the only one for my application is a complete carb for $239 :(

The cover and the bowl are plastic, the body is metal.
It is the exact same as this one on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-...6289089QQptZBoatQ5fPartsQ5fAccessoriesQ5fGear

Lets see if that link works.

I know buying the part direct from Evinrude is the most expensive way to do it, but I cannot find it on IBoats. Are there any other places I can search?

Thank you guys for your replies so far!

Re: Your assistance greatly needed!! Carburator cover cracked

9.9 carbs usually don't sell for much so that one is way over priced. A 15hp carb might work but they usually sell for more since guys buy them for upgrade purposes. If you bid on a 15hp carb and it doesn't work turn around and resell it.

Those plastic carbs don't come up all that often on ebay so your either going to have to be patient or just buy the part new.

Check ebay, I saw 3 on there today, 74-92 should work, difference they say was the bowl but they look the same.

You might try the search option for salvage parts, there are a few around.
