Yup, SN. Those other cars could probably outaccellerate the MB if they got traction. The 250hp was a DIN, not SAE, measurement. Big difference.<br /><br />The question was what was your favorite, not what was the quickest. The 300SE was not a drag car, it was a car to drive.

Two weeks later it had a new front clip and a couple weeks after that, new paint. Total cost: $1,300.00. For everything, car included. Don't see deals like that anymore.<br /><br />Drove it for two years. The only car I couldn't beat was my best friends '71' Cuda-440 Six Pack. It was close though. The funny thing is though, is that my friends dad was a Buick dealership technician. So, I had ALL the tech. help I needed. The Cuda was a tin can compared to the Buick. Mine had A/C. and was a much more solid car.<br /><br />He had big 50 series tires on Cragar SS's on the back of the Cuda and it was jacked out of proportion. I left mine setting normal with the biggest 60's I could stuff in the wheel wells on Buick factory mags w/ BFG radial T/A's. Sharp, sharp, sharp.<br /><br />That car was very reliable and oh, what a pulling machine. Dragged a 22' Starcraft like it wasn't there.<br /><br />Man, I still wish I had that car. My friend still has the Cuda. He wishes he had the GS.
