Your honest opinion on this outboard....

Can I all you avid boaters out there, your opinion on a 1998 Johnson 3 cylinder 35hp outboard.

According to my local outboard service centre, they have only seen 1 of these outboards.Also he told me today that OMC pulled it from the market only after two years.

Any remarks?

All the compacts and portables got canned in 2001. i just bought a 1996 3 cyl 25hp and can't wait to see what it's got. the problem with the 3 cyl 35 hp is that it weighed 170lbs

Thanks for your comment, I too can`t wait to see how she performs when the weather finally warms up.Yes, it is quite heavy, but hopefully this little looper has some torque...or not....
