yr and fuel mixture?

I am looking for information for my brother. He recently purchased a boat for a former co-worker, and doesn't know much about it. It is an Evinrude, Lark, and has the number 14877 imprinted on it. We do not even know what this number is exactly. We would like any help you could give us. model, year, fuel mixture, etc... Thank You and God Bless..

Hi Formybro<br /> We need a model#. Look for a plate mounted between the transom clamps under the cowl. Also look for a welch plug on the engine block. This will be an aluminium disc about the size of a quarter. You may have to scrap some paint and/or crud to read it. I can't give you more info till we know what model you have.
