Ive seen a few spots on my motor with zerk fittings. Can I just use quicksilver grease and squeeze it in until it oozes out? or is there a special way to go about this...

Yes but don't over grease the distibuter tower if your engine has one, just a small pump will do.

Once a year is plenty, I think they are only to stop corrosion in the tower

i just looked at the grease package and it says not to use it on internal engine parts or needle bearings. is it still safe? does that mean just dont put it in the cylinder or something?

Anything inside the engine (cylinders and crankcase) must be gasoline-solube. They sold a "special assembly needle bearing lubricant" for this purpose but Vasoline also work!

Re: Zerk Grease fittings on motor

You must have 2-4-C which has Teflon in it and cannot be used in needle or ball bearings or for engine assembly for the reason that saumon said it is not gas soluble and will cause bearings to slide and flat spot themselves, how ever the use that you ask about is not a area with bearings that are lubed by the zerts. So it will be fine.
