Re: Zinc Anode - Bias Adjustment Q
The procedure is to move the back of the tab in the same direction as the pull of the steering wheel. If the boat pulls right, adjust the tab so its trailing edge is to the right.
And yes, too many variables....

Question from a Newbie...
It works as a Trim Tab on an Aileron or a Tab on a Rudder works if not mistaken.

lane: They are there to make slight adjustments to flight to prevent flying skewed through the air.
When misaligned, you are spoiling the water that is passing the drive, and by making slight adjustments port or starboard, you are eliminating the drag on the steering correct?
If the new one is similar to the one that is on it currently and there is no issues with steering now (or before the damage), wouldn't it save a lot of time and frustration by crib marking the one that is there before removing it? Like measuring a tie-rod before removing and replacing it.
Seems like it wouldn't be a "complete shot in the dark" and it should be close providing that it is close to the same as the one being removed or am I missing something?

But they would have to very similar in thickness, shape, and length.
