Zodiac Air Floor Separation - Need Advice

I was given a nice "95" Fastroller. The air floor must have been over inflated and is separated in the center so it is unusable. A replacement is over $1,200.00 no way. Can I lay a sheet of marine plywood after just a little air in the air floor? Does anyone see a problem with this. Boat came with an 18 hp outboard and will be used for coastal fishing and diving.

Thanks Anyone!

To use a 18 HP engine, probably a Tohatsu, Mercury 2 stroke engine on that sib, will need to be very rigid, a well infalted sib for secure outting & good performance, post some pics of the floor infalted to hard pressure to have a look, yes air floors due cost, worst if being Zodiac brand. Is it a matter of holding the floor down or a aesthetic issue ?

if you inflate the air floor first then inflate the pontoons the pontoons will hold the airfloor down, its kinda be wedged in there. thats what we do with my buddy's dinghy.

his is damn near in separate parts but so long as we inflate it nice and tight, it stays together.
