You are either being purposely argumentative or took a stupid pill today (and the day before, and the day before that, and the . . )

1) They (Dems) cannot claim that Alberto Gonzales, Bush and the Puppy beater are incapable of bringing a terrorist to Justice.

2) They cannot say that his rights were violated and use his innocence as proof.

3) They cannot say that our Justice Department is incompetent in this case.

4) They cannot accuse Bush of being on a Witch Hunt in this case.

5) They cannot claim that we are missing the real criminals while we fiddle fart around in Iraq.

6) They cannot say that Terrorism is not a threat to the Homeland.

7) They cannot claim that increased vigilance is not warranted.

Well I guess they can and probably will, but this case should make it harder to listen to them. Man, you could try just a little sip of the water Blo Mo Fo Ho. I am just trying to make sure you don't expire from a thirst for knowledge. It's altruistic, I swear it is . . .

The Dems (and others that support the constitution) simply wanted these guys that are being held charged in court, and given a fair trial, instead of being held indefinitely with no legal recourse.

He was tried and convicted. A definite victory for the Dems, and others that believe in constitutional rights.

The legal system can work, despite what the right wing wackos would have you believe.

Period. Don't put Constitutional Ignorance in my mouth . . . I completely understand the assertions about Gitmo, I just happen to think these guys are Enemy Combatants . . . Oh, and by the way, the Geneva Conventions do not apply to people that are not in uniform if we want to go down that road. Look it up. . .

BTW, I did not directly connect innocence with Civil rights abuse. I said that innocence cannot be used as evidence of abuse if he was indeed found guilty . . . I understand how you might be confused, but I know that guilt and innocence aren't the point. I guarantee if he had been found innocent the screams of "see we told ya" would've been louder than any of our keyboards a clackin' . . .
