Wow! Some fabulous photos!

Things are just starting to change here in NW New Jersey. Won't have the nice colors for another week or two. Although we got our first hard frost last night at my house. This photo was taken over the weekend to show the new light I put in. But it shows the trees are starting to change.

Trees look like up here in Canada about 4 weeks ago. You'll catch up. (Heard the S word on the weather this morning referring to Wed) Hope they're wrong.

Here is a link to our photos from our ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad this weekend. Things weren't as colorful as I had hoped, but it was still beautiful and a nice way to enjoy the views.

The train ride is only 4.5 hrs. We drove out Sat. morning and back that afternoon. It was a little pricey at like $54 for 4.5 hr. ride, but it was a great way to see things and not have to try to take pictures while driving.

We'll definitely do it again, or maybe take one of the other rides they offer.

Two years ago we did the train ride through the Adirondacks in NY. You're right. It's nice and relaxing, snapping a few pics. Not cheap, but worth it for the experience. You took some nice pics.

I was going to take my camera out yesterday, but thought there might be too much chop and it would get wet. As it turns out, it was the only day that hasn't been windy and it was calm. Now I'm eating my heart out.

Great pics! The color pics are nice, but my favorite is the first one, the stormy looking pic of the dock with the Mercury powerhead in the foreground. suitable for framing!
