Re: Weird eye problem

What's an air puff test?
Glycoma is rampant on dad's side.
I expect to have to deal with this at some point.

A device shoots a small blast of air against the eye ball and measures how much the deflection is. Depending on the deflection, it can determine if there is pressure build up in the eye.

I jump every time they do it. It doesn't hurt, but it does surprise me even though I know its coming.

Re: Weird eye problem

Had my first ocular migraine at age 15. In math class, the teacher was writing 3 decimal places... no matter how I looked at it, I could not see the middle number...

the school nurse sent me home. It was a 1.5 mile walk. I walked 1 mile and crawled the last .5 miles on hands on knees crying in pain because I could not see and I had the worst migraine headache imaginable... not 1 car stopped...I knocked on several doors (I think...) and no one answered...

I had several of these incidents until about age 20. luckily they went away.

I have very severe myopia which stretches my retina and migraines were probably caused by growth spurts in puberty
