Ayuh,... Back in June, I celebrated the 25th anniversary of my 29th Birthday....
Don't feel a day over 29,.. til about 8pm everyday.....

I'm a 58 year old with the body of a 80 year old. Caused by 40+years working construction. Have built 2 Fiberglass driftboats from scratch. Working on my 24' silverline project when I can and ain't hurting to bad.

I'll be 40 in a few weeks, so that means I did all four rebuilds in my 30s (three Starcraft Americans and a GW Invader Banchie).

I'm 49. But, don't know if I can honestly be considered a "restorer". I constantly am making improvements to my old Crestliner and try to stay as original as possible. However, she's in use, too. Perhaps one day I'll take her out of service long enough to actually rebuild her. But, I doubt she'll be restored to original, maybe original with improvements.

47 on my second restoration
1- 38 ft Piver Trailable trimaran little 9hp motor big sails.

2nd restoration - 1978 Searay Cuddie with a 898 drive system (chevy 305) 198hp
inside out new seats; landfilling the carpet ( did I mention I hate carpet in boats) building a new doghouse; and repowering 350 sbc 275 hp with the sei 106 outdrive gotta love the lines though

would love to hear guys thoughts on thru transom exhaust I am thinking about putting in a diverter with a switch on the console noise marina quiet

Just doing my first time restore at 45, but I feel 65. Didn't plan on it, it just kinda happened

Hello folks,
MY wife finished my first restoration, can I count that one?
I came home from work and 60's vintage Starcraft was gone. That was 20 yrs ago.
Now getting ready to start on my next project as soon as I can get it home. It's my boat but I havent seen it in 6 years.
57 next month.

i just turned 40 the 5th of this month. people think that me and my son are brothers he is 20 almost 21. im on my second restore. the 1st was a new floor in a 17' 69 larson tri hull. my current one it a 15' 79 champion bass boat. it is a total restore. happy birthday to all the september people

im 24 and i have been restoring boats since i was 18 i have done a glasspar v-20, sunrunner 230 sb, and now my new project a 1980 wellcraft sunhatch 196ss. and thats just for now.

13 here. bought my own boat 4 weeks ago and she already has been completely redone minus upholstery. Its a 1984 Glastron V192 with a 200hp yamaha. loving the boating world.
