Yeah I can't wear knee pads, hurts my legs so I just put them on the floor and kneel on them.

I have done 3 bathrooms before but that was floor tiles only. On this one Im doing a wall, floor, and shower stall. A LOT more work than just a floor.

Oh man it must be nice to have a nice flat, level, square counter to tile on huh?

Man this bathroom is typical california, slapped together in 18 mins flat, 83 degree angle corners, 1/4" or more drops in the tiling surface. What a pain in the A&%.

I have seen your skills, I am sure you will have no problems. Make sure you charge enough for all the extra time and hassle

HIJACK!

Let's talk about GPS a little. This morning I picked up a very nice, but old, Garmin GPS 12 that I'll be using both in the boat and in the woods. The unit was professionally maintained, looks and acts brand new and was kept up to date by the previous owner, who is a skip bail bondsman.

I checked it out in my yard and am pleased that it confirmed my home's altitude (from a previous GPS I'd owned) at 103 feet above sea level. Important hurricane info, that!

Can anybody recommend the best (cheapest) place to get cables and other accessories for my new little toy? Might be looking into getting a cable to access the 'net via my computer to update software and maybe an external antenna as well. (Though that last is not a priority.)

Waddya say?

For all you frozen northerners... just wanted to let ya'll know that I went FISHING today! Ha!

Didn't catch any fish, but greatly enjoyed the 80+ degree temps and plentiful sunshine! Saw a couple manatees and loads of waterbirds of all types. Tons of mangrove snappers around, but I wasn't baited up for them.

Just HAD to share that! :D

I actually DID get a little sun today, although I was only on the water for about 90 minutes. Seagulls all missed, but a Great Blue Heron got pretty close! LOL! :D

Hijack
Hi All, well back home from the mountains it was real cold most days between 8-20 deg, but it was beautiful. 7 days with no iBoats or internet :eek Here is what I had to leave behind:( Although a week of no human contact started to drive me stir crazy lol)

House and part of front yard

rest of yard heading down driveway towards pond

I didn't mind the cold one bit, just something about clean cold brisk air in Gods country. It was a semi successful trip shot a doe, about 160lbs or better least that's what it felt like having to drag it 1/2 mile out of the woods. (Note to self, have to get friends like bob_V has, that drags them out with a quad for ya lol.

Bambie

Now for the bad part, I hung he and didn't skin her immediately , went back out instead.
When I went to skin and butcher yesterday it was a BIG Oops, the deer was frozen solid. Wifey said she didn't want me to bring a (as she put it) dead animal home and cut it apart in our back yard
So I did what anyone else would, went to my ex-wifes with it, Lol she can butcher better than most men ( including me, but don't let her know that I admit that hehehe). I figured it would defrost enough during the ride over, WRONG. wound up staying till 11:30pm hoping it would defrost, as a result didn't get home till 2am rut roh ( didn't make present wifey happy )

She just called me to let me know it is just now good enough to start butchering, and was going to do it tonight without me .

Right now we have a Blizzard watch here, so I just finished prepping the snow blower grease, oil change, shear pins etc...
So after clearing snow tomorrow looks like I'm heading back to wife #1 to pick Bambie up
