i just brought home my first project

hi everyone this is my first boat project. Im real excited and so are the kids the wife on the other hand but slowly opening up. what i have is a 68 mfg not sure on the style yet and dont have yet but soon i will.

Welcome aboard! I've only been using this site since March & it's helped to use it! Vast amount of knowledge available here. Seems to be a great bunch of people. Post pics! List your model # here & someone may know exactly what you have.

and have a look.

The first thing to do, is get her cleaned up
Next, (this is what I do) get ALL your parts Bagged up, tagged and put away. Everything..... even nuts and bolts. You'll be glads you did, when you need them.

I know what you're going through because I did the same thing. My saving grace was that I was able to take the seats out and I worked on the wooden base. You have a great boat, can't wait to see what you do to her. Oh by the way, welcome aboard. The folks here are awesome.

Hi Again KWW ! If my Eyes are working well , I'd belive i see a RI on the boat reg # ?? Are you local too ? I dunk my keel in Naragansett harbor as often as I go in Buzzards Bay ! Keep up the work Hopefully we'll see you out in the spring .

It's a Westfield I have the '67' model that has the exact same cap. Look up under the splash well port side of transom inside and there should be an information plate, I liked the pictures.

i agree it is a Westfield, and as far as the title says its a 68. as for the info plate its not there, but i was wondering if i was able to get one
