You are both right and you are both wrong.
Ask any anorexic person how healthy they feel. Weight loss should not be a goal, fitness should. Stop eating and you are guaranteed to lose ALL of your weight. Start exercising and you are guaranteed to lose all of your BAD weight, no matter what you eat. Want to eat a side of Crisco every meal? You can be healthy, so long as you work it off.
Dieting people fail because they confuse 'diet' with 'starve' or they eat foods they don't enjoy because some diet show or website told them to.
EITHER changing diet OR increasing physical activity can result in weight loss.
