as of late im loosing spark. Then it comes back for a few trips then boom dead again? There is a little brown wire on to the side of the coil pack it is above where the spark plug wires attach. When it wont start I get a arch from that connection? the post looks like a small spark plug post?

no bare wires. did the nightime start to look for arch. It only archs when it wont send thru the spark plug wires. I have 3 sets of plugs, so I dont think its the plugs. coil pack?

Bad wire perhaps? Maybe the coil is arcing.

that small wire comes from the power pack to power the coil. when it archs it is grounding to the block.

A wire won't arc to ground unless it's bare, no?

I'd check the wire out a little closer and look for a split, never heard of an insulated wire without breaks in the insulation causing an arc.
