Mine went up on the 28th also ... :mad: Dang Crosby! I am going to have a talk Mario and Dan (Lemieux and Bylsma) ... Crosby has to do extra skating this week for making me put up the Maple Leaf instead of seeing the Stars and Stripes!

Definitely a great game!

My hat is off to the American members that are flying the Canadian flag in their avatars. No sour grapes and sticking with the wager.
Shows great sportsmanship and that we can all get along. (I had my USA flag avatar ready yesterday just in case)

Thanks to all those fine US hockey fans for living up to their end of the bargain, I love that you guys play this game with us. If you find a plain Canadian flag just a little less than exciting may I suggest my avatar as a suitable alternative?

To utilize my avatar just click my user name which takes you to my profile page, from there you can right click and save the picture to your desktop for upload when you select your avatar.

Not that I want to rub it in or anything...well maybe just a little.:p

Besides that goalie of yours was MVP of the whole series, gotta be proud of that! Miller is a brick wall! And Parisse! What a heart in that boy! Total respect for the whole US team.:cool:

Just to put this out there. If we (Canada) lost I was at a cross roads what to put in my avatar. I was thinking of the image of the drummer with the flute player and the flag carrier (colonial times). Not sure of the US meaning of this but I thought it would be fitting.

I just about went in for that avatar bet, but never made it on time:rolleyes:

Congratulations to the Canadians on their gold in hockey! That was the best game I had ever seen:)

Since I never made the avatar deadline, I will fly the usa flag for silver:D
