... Fished Saginaw Bay yesterday. Boated 30 eyes and a dozen sh*theads. Only had about 10 keeper eye's though. Tons of shorty's. Been killing them in the St. Clair River though, Jigg'in and Whipp'in. Plus... Salmon are firing up in Ludington!

Missed this....suppose the fillets are history by now ;) nice take!

Ha. No tourney for me this weekend! Captain Babysitter instead!:(

Oh well, might hit some Port Austin Walleyes on Sunday.

Let me know how you do, and good luck.

Still waiting on pics of your boat "rigged". Know what I mean???

Manistee was a bust for us:( Sunday, not a single boat limited out of 60 boats:confused:. Went to the bay on Monday and picked up a few nice eyes.Took a couple of pics of the boat almost rigged out left the riggers at home, could have used them. The triple tree's are going to go for a longer track and I will probably put a couple of holders up the side of the hard top.

That's what I'm talk'in 'bout! Looks sharp for sure. Been pounding the eye's out of Port Austin last couple weeks! Prolly hang there through July. Good fishing, boat looks great!

Thought I'd blow the dust off this thread. Was hoping with boat updates, but... it's fish'in season - time to play not work. So... here's a little fish porn instead. (just for Jas) ;) Outta Lexington, Lake Huron. Seeing a little more silver on the sunrise side this year.

Think I'm just gonna change or move this from a resto thread to the fish'in report section!

Just pumped and had to share som fish porn.

Just got back from Lake Ontario fish'in where I caught my biggest King to date. Just a tad under 35 lbs. Check it out!

And now the boat connection... this is great incentive to get my resto finished so I have a trailerable boat to get over to Lake O more often.

See... it all ties together in some weird twisted way. Right???

Re: 1989 Starcraft Bluewater 221 Offshore - Restoration

Okay... I have been quietly working on my POS trying to get the engine to roll over. Could only get a 220 degree roll, then she'd lock up. Tried a couple other things, no go. So... Took it in to the experts to have them take a peek. Just got the call that the old 305 is dead and beyond repair :( Manifolds, heads, the works - toast!

So... Now I'm on the hunt for a 350 to drop in. Should bolt up the same and should be able to strip some of the parts off the old engine.

Not good news, but progress none the less. At least I know what I got to do next to get this POS in the water by next spring!
