Hate to be a contrarian bagels to donuts but . . . I'd rather have one of those big warm Blueberry Muffins, the type with the sugar crystals sprinkled on top.

I am sorry, but you will have to wait for the next poll, "is muffins better with blueberrys or raisons" ???

Donuts. Especially the Krispy Kremes glazed. Couple of them and a cup of hot coffee.

I put a doughnut, and a bagel, on the kitchen floor.

The dog inhaled the doughnut in less time than it took for my to step away...and the bagel is still there after 3.5 hours.

Since I consider my dog as being smarter than the average person...the bagel is a big 'FAIL'!

Panera Bread's cinnamon crunch bagel over a donut, any day.

But I like their sourdough rolls and bread bowls best. No high-fructose corn syrup.

Donuts are inherently sweet and delicious. Bagels need a bunch of stuff on them to make them not taste like bagels. No contest.

Yep. I hate bagels but I love cream cheese. Donuts are able to stand alone. As long as they're glazed with sprinkles.

I actually prefer a plain bagel. My wife can't seem eat them without drowning them in cream cheese though

Onion Bagels w/ Cream Cheese and a thin slice of Corned Beef. But, I'm a sucker for a Blueberry Cake Donut.

Put a dog near a cat litter box and he will just love the cat crackers available

My Labradors are so well trained that they would have eaten both Before they hit the floor with equal fervor...... and even though they are smarter than many humans we keep them away from the litter box!


Actually Bagels to donuts is the same as apples to oranges...... they only have shape in common.

I grew up in a bakery, filling doughnuts with a hand pump while standing on a bucket to reach the bench. I still love them.
I used to fill the last jelly doughnut of the day with as much as I could put into it and place it on the tray. Only once did I get to witness the outcome, a lady bought it for her grandson (about 5) when he took a bite there was jelly everywhere! His smile lit up the place.

both! depends on what I want at the time..

bagels, toasted with lots of cream cheese

donuts....glazed or chocolate glazed are my top two!

A HOT Krispy Kreme or a Custard filled donut are the best. But I like bagels also. I probably eat more begals than donuts, but would prefer a donut ... bagels must have creme cheese with them.

As someone said earlier - no wonder I am so fat!

Bismark or Donut over Bagel anytime but a Good Raisin/ cinnamon bagel is pretty good too. especially if you run out of donuts.

Last week, while traveling on business, I stayed at a motel just north of Columbia, S.C. that advertised a "Continental Breakfast". The breakfast room opened at 6:30 am to guests. I came along at 6:40 am and ALL but two of the Krispy Kreme donuts were gone (out of a stack of boxes). (In fact, the breakfast bar was wiped out in about 10 minutes).

In all the years I've traveled, I've never seen a Continental Breakfast cleaned out so fast, especially the donuts. So I took a survey of the license plates of the guests.

Surprise! (welll, maybe not) at lest 60% of the tags were from Ontario or Quebec (I did hear some French speaking folks at breakfast). April is Canada Month in South Carolina.

What's up? Are there no KK donuts in the Great White North? These tourists acted like they were starving for KK donuts. They left the bagels alone. BTW.
