Thats a pretty cool concept. I would like to know more about this. What in particular I like is that there are no mechanical fittings getting buried under the deck
that makes service nearly impossible. The logic works. I suspect this would only be used when the boat is stationary, which makes sense anyway.
Hey KC, Just in case...I want to clear up that the sketch is related to the "simplest" system I described and related to in the "Ouachita" build...that is the type of live well that particular boat has...even though they are going to add a pump to aid in recirculating/aerating the well...
I did not mean to imply by my statement, following the sketch, that was the type of system I am working on in my boat...
I just came up with the sketch to help visualize the physics of water in this case...
The system I am concocting to build for my tub involves the use of pumps and valves, similar to what is shown in the "Flow-rite" site, since my live wells will need a water level in them somewhat higher than the water line...
