Yamaha Command Link Square Speed Gauge Not Registering Fuel

Yamaha Command Link Square Speed Gauge won’t register how many bars of fuel in tank. The boat has two seperate tanks with new mechanical/magnetic senders (click the link)

For each sender/tank theres two wires; One tank has pink and black and the other tank has pink/black and black. I removed the senders and ohms tested, checked the sender grounds which connect to the tank, grounds behind helm, resistance tested the pink wires and saw no corrosion. Seems everything is connected correctly. Could the gauge be bad? Are the pink wires supposed to provide any power or these senders work primarily on ground?

You posted a mechanical only sender

Are the pink wires supposed to provide any power or these senders work primarily on ground?

I've seen senders go both ways.
How does the wiring diagram tell you to hook them up?

My mistake wrong link. This is the gauge that is attatched to a mechanical fuel sending unit.

According to the link, there’s supposed to be a positive 12 volts and ground which all checked out.
