I’m new here and lots of great information here thanks, I just got the boat to trailer latch last year and my trailer has EZ rollers so it was difficult for me alone to load my trailer. Now with the boat to trailer latch I can do it by my self with no problem at all and be off the ramp in 10 minutes..

I took a chance and ordered one while on sale. I went with the Boat2Trailer unit....20 bucks off and free shipping. Bow curve could be an issue, but I don't think it will. Retired toolmaker here with access to a full machine shop if needed.
did you get installed?

I have a 94 Chaparral SSI 20’ that I have had for a long time and it just turned 400 hrs. It’s got the 5.0 Chevy motor and it runs great. The boat to trailer latch has been on for just over a year now and love it. After a couple adjustments along with knowing just how far to get the trailer in the water it’s been an excellent addition. Like I said I have an EZ loader trailer so it’s got roller wheels and it won’t stay on the trailer when trying to load. I pull it up and it latches I reach over and put the safety cable on and jump out and pull up the ramp and finish loading. I’ll get you a few pictures

yes I did. Needed some fine tuning and getting the trailer the correct depth. Once figured out....it is great ! Like many others, I have a full roller trailer so the boat will roll back with no power from the motor. Rollers also need adjusted so your boat is supported completely by the trailer when it make contact with the latch. Most of the time I am alone and this makes loading so much easier. My trailer is setup so the boat can't load crooked even if you tried. That makes a big difference on how well the system works. The unit is pricey, but at my age and being alone....makes things so much easier and quicker !
