Are Yamaha fuel filters universal?

If the Yamaha part number is not the same then the filter is not the same.

The 65L-24563-00-00 filter is used in a number of different Yamaha models.

if he is buying it at the Walmart link he posted, I am sure it is a Chinese knock off, not a Yamaha OEM filter
