I have a 115 SPL on a 17 foot Fletcher , currently I am running fuel from 3 X 25 Ltr (6.6 Gallons) tanks that are linked together so switching over is simply a manual valve operation. I don't currently have a fuel gauge so never know when the fuel will run out until it actually stalls because...

Both heads off, deflectors replaced......I was surprised I didn't notice how bad they really were!

I have the 115 spl 1998 and its the same.
They are correct, I actually think they are there so facilitate easy removal of the seal (I know it certainly made it easier for me to remove the seal!), Put it back no worries but...

OK. The block is in for boring , 0.030 and that's only because I couldn't get hold of 0.020 pistons.
I have some other questions for you experts ................
If I'm re-boring to 0.30 do I need to change the head ? I'm guessing no but would like some expert...

Well #1 piston is out , top ring totalled..............#2 piston Partial on the top ring (about 1/4 of ring missing)
#3 + #4 look fine.
I personally don't think its lack of lubricant more lack of cooling ? any ideas anyone?
I'm off to get the bores checked tomorrow...
