Oh okay well the fuel pump is running I can hear it humming so maybe it is the priming ball. Went out today took fuel line off carb and put the line in a gas can turned key and there was fuel let run till 5 gallons came out at one point it seemed like the pump was slowing down. I turned key off...
I’m not sure about it being wired to an oil pressure switch but makes since if it’s low on oil it would not send signal to the fuel pump if that’s the case right? I’ll have to check that today. I plan on pulling the fuel/water separator today to see if the fuel inside is clean thanks for the advice!
I dont think the fuel is getting to the pump and I’m not sure why I had to pump fuel into the filter with the priming ball that’s in line with the fuel system I’ve attached a photo of the fuel pump I have

The motor started to crank again it doesn’t make sense not sure if the starter just started to stick or stall but I’m sure now that the starter is going bad or is bad. Could also been from a bad battery as well.
That was another thought as well I don’t think it was over the starter but definitely in contact with it it that’s for sure I guess if any water leaked in it definitely got tossed around until it killed it thanks!
I pulled on cable to see it it was loose before I got shut out by some rain I’ll have to recheck for all that in the morning when I can it was cranking just fine with no problem tried to fire and then nothing not even a click from the starter I’m a rookie when it comes to boat the other day we...
I have a 1990 seaswril with a OMC 5.0L cobra. I had a fur issue 2weeks ago and recently got a remanded carburetor and replaced it today. While cranking it it started to fire but then stoped abruptly and now I have nothing I wondering if the starter took a crap and that’s where I should start...
